The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel
Located in Virginia, US, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is a 23-mile (37 km) fixed link crossing, connecting the Delmarva Peninsula with Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads metropolitan area.
Opened on 15th April, 1964, the bridge-tunnel was officially named as Lucius J. Kellam Jr. bridge tunnel.
It has always been popularly known as the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
