Navratri special Day 3: Jai Maa Chandraghanta|
Goddess Parvati after getting married to Lord Shiva started adorning her forehead with half-moon sharing the other with Lord Shiva, hence this married form of Goddess Parvati with 'half-chandra' is known as Maa Chandraghanta.
Maa Chandraghanta is seen mounting on grass atop her tiger. She is depicted with half moon in shape of a bell over her forehead, and 10 hands.
Maa Chandraghanta in her four right hand carries a Trishul, a Gada, a Sword and a Kamandal, and on the other side her found left hands are seen carrying, a lotus flower, an Arrow, a Dhanush and Japa Mala.
