Los Angeles: Pop star Lady Gaga took to photo-sharing website Instagram to share a video of herself getting 17th tattoo on her armpit.
The 28-year-old singer's tattoo, on her left side, is a tribute to her fans. It has a paisley design in purple ink with words 'Mother Monster' below it, reports dailymail.co.uk.
'Mother Monster' is Gaga's nickname for herself while her fans are known as her 'Little Monsters', a phrase she has already inked onto her arm.
The singer posted the video Tuesday with a caption that read: “Happy Birthday The Fame Monster”.
Gaga also shared a topless picture while getting inked by friend and tattoo artist Eric Gonzalez.
In the picture, Gaga is seen protecting her modesty with her arm.
The “Applause” hitmaker decided to get the new body art Tuesday because it marked the fifth anniversary of the release of “The Fame Monster”, the reissue of her debut album “The Fame”.
