Home remedies for back pain
1) Basil or ‘tulsi' leaves
Add 8 to 10 basil leaves to one cup of water and let it boil till the water reduces to half. Let it cool and after that add a pinch of salt to it. Now drink this concoction atleast once daily if the pain is mild and twice if it is severe.
2) Wheat
Soak a handful of wheat in water overnight. Next morning, mix it in cuscus grass and coriander. Then add one cup of milk and boil it till it thickens. Drink this mixture twice daily for effective relief of pain.
3) Poppy Seed (khus khus)
Poppy Seeds are very effective in curing back pain. Grind 100 gram of poppy seeds with 100 gram of rock candy (misri) and consume two tsp of this mixture twice daily followed by a glass of milk. The back pain will go forever with this remedy.
4) Ginger
Apply some ginger paste on the painful area of the back, followed by eucalyptus oil. You can also make ginger tea as recommended above and drink it atleast 2 or 3 times daily. This remedy is good in relieving in both neck and back pain.
5) Garlic
Take some coconut or mustard oil and heat it on low flame. Now add 8 to 10 cloves of garlic to it. Fry the garlic until it gets brown and strain it in a container. Allow the oil to become cool. Now massage your back gently with this oil and after that take a warm water bath.
