"Mid-length skirts, trousers with fitted shirts are perfect for the corporate wear," she added.
With temperatures climbing and humidity on the rise as well, choosing the right fabric is key to staying cool. Said designer Payal Sen: "In this season, breathable fabrics like cottons and georgettes are preferred."
Sen, who is stationed in the capital, has recently launched her summer-spring collection, Ultimate Diva.
"Animal prints like leopard, classic black and white zebra prints and tiger prints are also in vogue. One should go for pastel shades and avoid colours like emerald green and fiery red," she said.
"Women should also avoid denims and crepes and opt for cotton skirts, jumpsuits and trousers," she added.
