While the temperature seems to be in a quest to reach its highest everyday, it is becoming nearly impossible for us to move out of our houses.

The sweltering weather is not only making us sweat too much but is also bringing along various skin related problems. For example, ‘tanning'.

No matter how perfectly you cover yourself before going out in sun, it becomes almost impossible to prevent your skin from the blazing sun rays.

The worst part is when you want to try your favourite dress and you can't, because of the tan!

Applying a sunscreen lotion is a good option at that time but those chemically enriched lotions might have some side-effects too.

To avoid such a situation, here we bring to you the easy tips for preparing some home made natural sunscreen lotions that would help you keep the summer tan at bay:

Almond and Coconut Oil

Take half cup of almond oil, along with quarter cup of coconut oil in a jar and add two tbsp of shea butter in it.

Put a lid on the jar and place it in a saucepan filled with water.

Now place the saucepan over medium heat. As the pan heats up, mix the ingredients in the jar. Now add a tsp of zinc oxide in it.

Store the mixture in a cool and dry place.

Raspberry and Carrot Seed Oil

Take two tsp of red raspberry seed oil and three tsp of carrot seed oil and mix in a bowl.

Heat the mixture in the microwave for two minutes and stir it.

Now add half cup of olive oil and one tsp of essential oil and mix it. Add zinc oxide as you require.

Cool the mixture before use and apply it like a normal sunscreen.

Essential Oils

Take two tsp each of vitamin E oil, jojoba oil, apricot oil, sunflower oil, sesame oil, and lavender based essential oil in a bowl and mix it well.

Now heat the mixture in a pan and stir it quickly.

Make sure you mask your mouth during this process.

Cool the mixture in a refrigerator and then add zinc oxide.
