The reception dress was a beautiful example of being resplendent with all simplicity. The delicacy of intricate work on lehenga looked flawless on Dia.

Dia's wedding outfit was a traditional joda designed by Ritu Kumar. Kumar contemporized the Mughal era joda in style but kept the essence intact with old zardozi craftsmanship.

Stunning diva Dia looked beautiful as royal bride on her d-day in a heavily embroidered emerald green gharara with beautiful gotta work and golden zari work all over it.

The heavy gold neckpiece and beautiful 'maang-tikka' made the actress look as eternal beauty. To complete the typical Hyderabadi look, Dia was seen wearing a beautiful pearl pasha.

For Sangeet ceremony Dia chose a gorgeous lehenga by designer Anita Dongre, while Sahil looked like a prince charming that he is in a black buttoned up bandgala with payjama.

The lehenga worn by Dia Mirza on her sangeet ceremony was extravagant and heavy. The colour that was chosen for Dia Mirza was making her look all the more gorgeous.

With a beige colour corset and purple lehenga, the heavy gold embellishment was a perfect pick for Dia. Looking closely at the stunning choli, it had a few sequins and stones making the bridal-to-be look impeccable.

Dia complemented her purple lehenga with kundan jewellery. Her earrings matched the colour of the Anita Dongre lehenga and so did her mangtikka and necklace.

She wore no fancy rings, so as to keep her fingers bare for her wedding ring. However, the palms of her hands were decorated with bridal mehendi, which was dark enough to prove Sahil's love for her.

Dia Mirza, who also had her mehendi ceremony there, gave her fans a glimpse of the ensemble designed by Ritu Kumar, a marigold yellow chanderi multi-panelled kurta by posting a photograph on her Twitter page.

Describing the intricacies of the regal looking outfit, Ritu Kumar said, "The kurta has a vintage cut used in the courts of Agra around the 15th century. The neck is deep and worked in embroidered gota patti on net like the technique used at the time."

"The gold metallic taar used is of silver worked in gold thread and dori to give it a stylised plant inlay look. Each panel is highlighted with a flowering buta. The odhni is fuschia worked with small butis of the same beaten gold gota patti, a fuschia brocade deep sinjaf finishes the edges of the outfit."
