New Delhi: Actress Deepika Padukone has been named the brand ambassador of jewellery brand Tanishq.

The “Piku” actress has been roped in as she is the “face of the Indian woman who is confident and progressive," said Deepika Tewari, general manager - Marketing, jewellery division, Titan Company Limited.
“She is a woman of today who knows what she wants and makes her own choices, and at the same time is rooted and values relationships which is a mark of true progressiveness,” added Tewari.
As brand ambassador, the 29-year-old star will bepart of several campaigns and will make appearances at events around the world, adding pieces from Tanishq's jewellery collections to her distinctive looks.
