New Delhi: Henceforth, board meetings needn't be staid, formal affairs. "Experience Meetings", a newly-launched 'break-out room' concept enables these to be held in a fun manner.
Available at all Radisson Blu hotels, the concept aims at boosting creativity, encouraging active participation and enhancing interaction amongst the delegates by creating a stimulating atmosphere through the use of bright colours and flexible furniture.
With out-of-the-box ideas, props and a set up completely different from traditional meetings, the all-new concept gives a funky touch to serious meetings and eases tensions.
"We all want meetings that are more productive in a creative and intellectually stimulating environment. We have made a commitment to deliver successful meetings with higher productivity and greater creativity for our guests," Sandy Russell, vice president, commercial operations of Asia Pacific at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, said.
"We are leveraging technology and innovation, customer insight and research to provide all the elements that contribute to successful meetings. Radisson Blu's Experience Meetings delivers a seamless, innovative meetings experience with a difference whilst providing sustainable options to our customers," she added at a media interaction here on Thursday evening.
What adds to the experience is the 'Brain Food' menu that is low on sugar and fats and helps you concentrate during meetings and seminars.
The culinary concept has been developed in consultation with nutrition experts and chefs, and is based on core principles that emphasize the use of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients such as fish, whole grains, fruits and vegetables that have had minimal industrial processing.
Experience Meetings also leverages technology to ensure superior connectivity for both participants and meeting planners. The delegates can enjoy free internet access, which ensures that they stay connected throughout the event.
"Experience Meetings with the Brain-Food concept is a noveau idea. Corporate meetings are a crucial part of any hotel's business and a concept like this will be a welcome step in that direction," Rohit Bajpai, general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel Paschim Vihar, told IANS.
