Mumbai: Actor Ali Fazal will sizzle on the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) ramp as a showstopper for designer Digvijay Singh at the forthcoming summer-resort 2014 edition of the fashion gala.
The event begins here Wednesday.
Singh feels Ali is the right fit for being the showstopper as the collection is playful and vibrant. He believes he will pull it off with his charisma and style, said a statement.
The collection will pay an ode to classic games like Snakes and Ladders and Ludo, which now seem lost in the deluge of digitalization.
The line is a reflection of the games in garments and ensembles, not just superficially but in character. It offers quirkiness, novelty and a slice of childhood.
On the movie front, Ali will be seen in the lead role opposite Vidya Balan in the yet to release “Bobby Jasoos”.
