New Delhi: Sexual pleasure is one of the most essential elements in a relationship. Getting intimate with your partner, not just help in strengthening your bond but also provide you psychological satisfaction.
It is always assumed that sex is just a men’s thing as it is widely believed that a man’s satisfaction is what matters during intercourse.
However, this is just a myth as per the experts; a woman needs sexual satisfaction as much as the man.
In fact, according to a recent study, a women’s brain has an important participation in reaching a climax.
A group of scientists from Rutgers University, New Jersey, made a video, through a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scanner, of a bunch of ladies which they’ve dubbed as the “world's first movie of the female brain as it approaches, experiences, and recovers from an orgasm”.
The video showed the nerve pathway of how the orgasm unfolds. Instead of going up the spinal cord, it travels along a nerve that goes into the pelvis, called the vagus nerve. These fMRI scans displays exactly how a woman’s brain reacts during sexual experiences.
