Hence, the nation will celebrate Eid ul-Fitr on June 16 in all its glory. However, the moon was sighted in the state of Kerala on June 14, so they are celebrating Eid on June 15. India's neighbouring countries Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have also witnessed the Eid Chand and will celebrate Eid tomorrow on June 16.
