Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been in news ever since the announcement of their marriage. The diva got married in a hush-hush wedding in Italy on November 14 and 15. The couple hosted two wedding receptions one in Bengaluru and the other in Mumbai on November 21 and 28 respectively. The looked effortlessly best on their D-day. Deepika wore an ivory and golden dress at her Mumbai reception which was designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. 

The designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla have shared an interesting video showing the making of Deepika’s Mumbai reception dress. They disclosed that it took 16000 hours to design her reception dress. 

In the video, they also stated that it is handcrafted by Lucknow women. Earlier, a report of Times Now stated that it has been made in the Ton Sur Ton tradition of weaving. The designers stated that Deepika’s jewellery was also designed by them. Her ivory and gold blouse was heavily embroidered to enhance the look. 

It is worthy to mention here that Deepika’s family wore outfits designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Meanwhile, Ranveer opted dresses designed by the designer Rohit Bal. Deepika and Ranveer wore a colour coordinated dress for the occasion. 

Deepika and Ranveer got hitched in two traditional ceremonies including Konkani and Sikh at Italy’s Lake Como. Deepika and Ranveer are all set to host another party on December 1.
