Every year, since 1999, International Men’s Day is marked on November 19. The special day dedicated to all the men was curated and revived to build a men's movement globally that promotes an ideology encouraging peace and resolving of disputes.
This annual celebration is for a global concern for problems related to men that affect families and the rest of society. The day also brings joy in the hearts of many men as they are appreciated and celebrated for the efforts they put in their work or service.
The methods of celebrating this special day have included public seminars, forums, conferences, festivals and fundraisers, classroom activities at schools, radio and television programs, award ceremonies, special retail promotions, photo and film competitions, music concerts and art displays, and peaceful awareness marches.
