Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday virtually inaugurated the new integrated terminal building (NITB) of the Veer Savarkar International Airport at Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Tuesday, officials said. The PM also took a dig at the Maha Opposition meet in Bengaluru and called it as 'Kattar Bhrashtachar Sammelan.' Top leaders of 26 opposition parties are brainstorming in Bengaluru on July 17-18. They are likely to start the work on a common minimum programme and announce a joint agitational plan to take on the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Terming the agenda of the meet as 'Family first', the PM without naming the Gandhi family said, "If someone is out on bail in corruption of crores of Rupees, they are seen with great respect. If the entire family is out on bail, they are more honoured...If someone insults a community and is punished by the court, he is honoured..."
