The Karnataka Milk Federation has increased the price of state-owned Nandini milk by Rs 2 per litre. Moreover, it has also increased the quantity of milk in the packet. As per the notification released by the federation, each pack will contain 50 ml of extra milk.
Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited (KMF) chairman Bhima Naik held a press conference in Bengaluru on Tuesday. During the presser, he informed about the federation's decision to revise the rates.
With the latest revision, the price of Nandini milk in Karnataka would now be at Rs 44 per litre, which was Rs 42 per litre earlier.
The recent hike is the second in less than one year. Earlier in July 2023, the KMF had increased the prices of Nandini milk.
