A horrific hit-and-run incident has gone viral where a speeding car colliding with a bike and two young female students in Karnataka's Raichur district have come to the fore. A case has been registered at Raichur traffic police station.
The video captured on CCTV shows a speeding car hitting a bike and two schoolgirls near Ragavendra petrol bump in Raichur district. The accident occurred on July 18 while a biker made a sudden U-turn on a road and a speeding car resulted in a terrific accident. While the biker met with major injuries, 2 girl students met with minor injuries. The victims are being treated at Raichur medical hospital.
The car driver has been caught by the police and suspension of the driver's licence for both has also been recommended. Additional Director General of Police, Traffic & Road Safety took to Twitter and said, "Have directed the concerned to take immediate legal action against Motor cycle rider as well as the car driver. DL suspension for both of them is also recommended. The unfortunate incident caused injuries to hapless school girls."
