Blood samples collected from attendees of a recent rave party at a farmhouse in Bengaluru have revealed that 86 individuals, including a Telugu film actress, tested positive for narcotics, according to police sources on Thursday. A total of 103 people participated in the event, disguised as a birthday party, as per sources. Among them were 73 men and 30 women.
Seizure and investigation
During a raid at the farmhouse near Electronic City in the early hours of May 19, police confiscated MDMA (Ecstasy) pills, MDMA crystals, hydro cannabis, cocaine, high-end cars, and DJ equipment, including sound and lighting valued at Rs 1.5 crore.
Positive tests and further action
After the raid, blood samples were collected from the participants at a private hospital. The results revealed that 59 men and 27 women had tested positive for narcotics.
"Most attendees were found to be consuming drugs. The Central Crime Branch will issue notices to those who tested positive," a police source stated.
