Karnataka: Army officer's family thrashed, brother killed for complaint over loud music in Bengaluru
Karnataka: A case of murder has been registered in connection with this incident against the three neighbours.
Karnataka: In a shocking incident, the family of an Indian Army officer were thrashed by drunk techie neighbours in Bengaluru's Vigyan Nagar over the issue of loud music, a police complaint informed.
54-year-old Lloyd Nehemiah lived with his mother in a rented house. When he complained about the loud music the neighbours tharshed him following which he was rushed to the hospital where he died. His mother was also attacked during the dispute leading to her condition worsening and she was also admitted to the ICU.
Lloyd's brother, David Nehemiah, is an army colonel posted in Kashmir. In the complaint file on Sunday, it is stated that the neighbours assaulted his family when they complained about the loud music which disturbed his mother. Other than Lloyd, his sister was also thrashed by the youths.
A case of murder has been registered in connection with this incident against the three neighbours namely Ram Samant Rai, Basudev Samant Rai and Abhishek Singh. All the accused have been arrested, police informed. Sources informed that the youths were working for a software company.
