Congress on Tuesday issued a show-cause notice to senior leader B K Hariprasad for criticising Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and sharing the dias with BJP and YSR Congress leaders at the backward classes conference in Bengaluru.
Congress Disciplinary Action Committee member Tariq Anwar said that the panel had decided to give him 10 days to explain his conduct.
He is accused of criticising Chief Minister Siddaramaiah publicly and sharing the dais with BJP and YSR Congress at a conference in Bengaluru on September 9.
B.K. Hariprasad is a politician from the Indian National Congress party. He is a former Member of Parliament who represented Karnataka in the Rajya Sabha and was the candidate of the United Opposition for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha and lost to Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh of NDA.
