Karnataka Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: The counting of votes for all 28 Lok Sabha seats of Karnataka is currently underway. A state that will have a significant influence in the 18th Lok Sabha elections, the polling in Karnataka was held in the second and third phase (April 19 and May 7 respectively). There were two main rival alliances competing in the state - the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the I.N.D.I.A. (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance). While Congress is fighting alone in the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has formed an alliance with the Janata Dal (Secular).

The 28 seats in Karnataka represent the state population of 6.11 crore citizens, as per the census held in the state in 2011. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won the majority of the parliamentary seats in Karnataka - 25. An independent candidate Sumalatha, who was part of the NDA and has now joined the BJP, also won a seat, and the Congress-JD(S) alliance each won one of the two remaining seats. Stakes are high in this battle, and it remains to see who emerges victorious.
