Jharkhand Assembly Elections Phase 1: The polling in Jharkhand commenced at around 7:00 am in 15 districts on Wednesday and continued till 5:00 pm. Voting ended at 4:00 pm at 950 sensitive booths spread across 31 constituencies in the state.

Assam bypolls: 30 pc voting in 5 assembly seats till 11 am
Over 30 per cent of 9.1 lakh electors cast their votes in the first four hours of polling on Wednesday during by-elections to five assembly constituencies in Assam, according to official data.
