Many times, consumption of too-hot food and changes in weather can cause indigestion, gas, an increase in bile and stomach infection. During the summer season, most people start having problems like vomiting, nausea, headache and indigestion due to heat in the stomach. Be very careful about your eating habits in summer. Eat very light and simple food in this season. Avoid eating too much oily and spicy food. Drink lukewarm water on an empty stomach in the morning. Consume lassi, buttermilk or curd for lunch. Have breakfast within 1-2 hours of waking up in the morning. Do not eat too much at once and do not remain on an empty stomach. Keep drinking water throughout the day.

Banana- Eat a banana every day during summer. Bananas contain a high amount of potassium, which helps in controlling acid. Bananas contain pH elements which reduce the acid in the stomach. This forms a smooth layer in the stomach and provides relief from heat.

Mint- Fresh mint is available in abundance during the summer season. Eating mint mixed with chutney or curd reduces stomach acid. Add some mint leaves to 1 glass of water and boil the water. You can drink this water after it cools down.

Fennel- Eat fennel to keep the stomach cool and calm the heat. Eating fennel and sugar candy soothes stomach irritation. Eating fennel reduces acidity. Be sure to eat fennel and sugar candy after meals. You can also drink fennel water.
