The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday nabbed a Pakistani national from Bhuj in the Kutch district of Gujarat, which is located on the international border of Pakistan. According to BSF officials, Mahboob Ali (30) is a resident of Badin district in Sindh province of Pakistan.
Pak national was held at Harami Nala
The Pakistani national was apprehended after the patrolling party of BSF observed suspicious movement close to the international border. He was found at the Harami Nala, a tidal channel that serves as a natural boundary between India and Pakistan near Kutch.
"On September 23, a BSF patrol observed suspicious movement near the India-Pakistan border. A team immediately reached the spot and arrested a Pakistan national. He has been identified as Mehboob Ali, 30, son of Mohammad Yusuf, resident of Sirani, Badin District, Sindh."
Entered Indian territory to catch birds and crabs
During the interrogation, Ali told the BSF that he entered Indian territory to catch birds and crabs. The security forces also recovered an owl from his possession.
"He was held from the northern end of Harami Nala, a tidal channel that serves as a natural boundary between India and Pakistan near Kutch district of Gujarat. An owl was recovered from his possession. He revealed he entered Indian territory to catch birds and crabs," the BSF said in a statement.
