Gujarat Election Results 2024: Congress dents BJP's hat-trick sweep, wins 1 seat, BJP retains 25

As per the latest trends from the Election Commission of India, Congress party has managed to put a dent on Bharatiya Janata Party's hat-trick weep in the state.

As the results conclude in Gujarat, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) failed to achieve a hat-trick of clean sweep in Gujarat. The Congress clinched one seat of Banaskantha in this General Election. Banaskantha has been clinched by Congress' Geniben Nagaji Thakor. The result for the Surat constituency seat is already declared as the BJP's candidate has won it unopposed. The result for the Surat constituency seat is already declared as the BJP's candidate has won it unopposed.

In the early trends on Tuesday morning, BJP was trailing in the seat of Junagadh. However, according to the BJP  won 25 seats. Major win for the BJP came from constituencies Gandhinagar, Rajkot, and Porbandar.

From Gandhinagar, Home Minister of India Amit Shah contested Lok Sabha Elections 2024 against Sonal Patel from the Congress party and won a landsliding victory by 7,44,716 votes. In the Porbandar constituency seat, BJP's Mansukh Mandaviya, who is currently serving as the Health Minister of India, won by a margin of 3,83,360 votes against Lalit Vasoya of Congress.

In Rajkot seat BJP's Parshottambhai Rupala contested against Congress' Paresh Dhanani and won with a margin of 4,84,260 votes.
