Gujarat: A case against two people has been registered under various sections against negligence after two minor girls had fallen from a moving school van while being dropped home in Gujarat's Vadodara. A video of the incident has surfaced showing the van at a reasonably high speed was on home drop duty when two girls suddenly fell from the back door of the car with their school bags.

According to reports, the driver of the car kept the vehicle running even after when the girls fell on the road. The driver and the owner of the vehicle has been taken into custody.

The CCTV footage video shows that the rear door of a school van passing through a society suddenly opens and two students fall on the road. However, the school van driver was not even aware of this incident and kept the car running.

A case been registered at Vadodara's Makarpura police station and the driver and owner of the vehicle have been taken into custody.

According to ACP Pranav Kataria, the viral video is from Wednesday (June 19). The age of the accused driver is said to be 23 years. He has a learning license. At present, both the van driver and owner are in police custody. The names of the accused are Pratik Padhiyar and Jignesh Joshi.

FIR registered under five sections

The accused had started the van service in New Era School during the new academic session. A complaint has been filed under section 192CA and sections 180, 184, 336, 279 for negligent driving. Police say that efforts will also be made to cancel the learning driving license of the accused driver.
