The teaser of Netflix's Sacred Games dropped today and it looks intriguing. The one-minute-long teaser is a chase game and looks dark. It teases with main characters of the web series- police officer Sartaj Singh played by Saif Ali Khan, RAW agent Radhika Apte and a gangster Ganesh Gaitonde played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The clip opens with Nawaz sitting in his usual mafia style. He says, ''Kabhi kabhi lagta hai apun hi bhagwan hai”. Quick shots follow and we see anxious Radhika Apte, money, dance bars, blood, etc. If you go by the teaser, you can expect an intense crime drama with splendid performances.

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, Netfilx India shared the teaser on its Twitter account with caption: ''Even if you're a god, betrayal is the only truth. Presenting Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in the Netflix original series, Sacred Games. Premieres 6th July 2018.''

The series is eight-episode-long and will stream on Netflix from July 6. Sacred Games is based on a book by best-selling author Vikram Chandra of the same name.

Saif Ali Khan's last films- Chef and Kalakaandi have tanked at the box office. When asked about casting Saif in the series, director Motwane told IANS: ''I think we need it (the presence of a star) because we need to sell the medium. At this point of time, it's not so much about the show. There's more pressure on us to be able to sell a medium of watching something and to be able to sell something we're not used to watching.''

Saif's sardar cop look is quite impressive. On a related note, Abhishek Bachchan's sardar look from Manmarziyan also went viral. It seems Anurag Kashyap (who is directing both) is fond of Sardar looks.
