Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai features Mona Singh, Ronit Roy, Suchitra Pillai, Gurdeep Kohli and Pooja Banerjee in important roles. The web series has started streaming from today video-on-demand platform ALTBalaji. Digressing from the usual run-of-the-mill concepts, relationships and over the top family dramas that we are so used to seeing; Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain is the story of a couple (Roy and Singh) that are madly in love and seemingly perfect for each other. There is just one problem — Roy's character is married to that of Kohli and they have what looks like two teenage (very vocal) daughters.
Now, Mona Singh who plays the other woman in the web series has opened up about the story.
When quizzed about whether the show justifies infidelity, the TV actress said that the makers aren’t trying to advocate infidelity.
“I don’t think we are trying to justify or convince anyone. It’s a work of fiction and purely for entertainment. I wouldn’t want anyone to indulge in an extra-marital affair. I mean I want to even play a serial killer but would I want people to murder then, no (laughs). But on a serious note, I will never advocate infidelity as I feel people should only marry for the right reason so that they do not go out finding love”, Mona Singh was quoted as saying to Indian Express.
