Kapil Sharma, whose life hit a rough patch last year attempted at making a comeback with The Kapil Sharma Show. Soon, the episodes started rolling and Kapil's show began receiving a lot of love. Meanwhile, he also got married to his long-time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath. Everything was hunky-dory until reports of the actor-comedian's unwarranted behaviour hit the headlines again. Reportedly, Kapil Sharma, Ranveer Singh and Mika Singh attended an event at a suburban hotel in Mumbai where comedian's behaviour made his fans upset.
When some fans asked Kapil for a selfie, he didn't just refuse and threw starry tantrums but was also rude in his approach.
As per a report in DNA, ''Kapil not only declined to pose for pictures and selfies, but he was also rather curt in his refusal. His attitude completely put off the guests who requested him for a photograph.” On the other hand, Ranveer, who was also present at the event was courteous and warm towards his fans. ''Ranveer was his usual warm and friendly self when some guests requested him for pictures. His enthusiasm floored them and they were amazed by how nicely he treated them all,” it was quoted.
On a related note, The Kapil Sharma Show has been hitting the headlines after Pulwama terror attack. Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has been an integral part of the comedy show was sacked after his comments on the attack, which didn't go down well with the netizens.
During a media interaction in the wake of Pulwama attack, Navjot Singh Sidhu said that a nation cannot be held responsible for terrorism. “Nations cannot be held responsible for the dastardly acts of terrorists. The terrorists do not have deen, mazhab (sect and religion). There are good, the bad and the ugly. Every institution has them. Every nation has them. The ugly need to be punished. But individuals cannot be blamed for the dastardly act,'' he had said.
Reportedly, Archana Puran Singh has replaced Sidhu but when IANS contacted her, she denied replacing the ace cricketer. "No, I haven't replaced him. I have not received any official information from Sony Entertainment Television or anyone to be a permanent part of the show. I shot two episodes for 'The Kapil Sharma Show' before the Pulwama attack. He (Navjot Singh Sidhu) was busy somewhere due to which the channel approached me for shooting two episodes, and I did it,'' she said.
