TV actress Disha Vakani, who plays the role of Dayaben in the popular TV show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has finally called it quits to the show, latest reports suggest. Ever since she embraced motherhood, the actress was on a pregnancy break. Since then there were several reports doing rounds of Disha Vakani quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Now, the show’s producer in a cryptic statement when asked about the actress quitting the show said, "Can't say about the authenticity of that news. I don't know. Maybe true. I don't know about the final decision. My team is talking with her." he told Bollywoodlife.com.
Furthermore, reports say that Disha had laid some conditions for her return which were not met by the producers of the show.
"Daya had laid some conditions with her timings and availability along with monetary concerns to makers, who in return said that they would love to have her back, but cannot comply with her conditions. Discussions went on and on for months, but now, the final outcome is that both parties have mutually decided to end their association”, a source was quoted as saying to Spotboye.
Initial reports suggested that Disha had hiked her fees to mark her comeback in the show. She was apparently charging Rs 1.5 lakh per episode. And she had also put forth a condition to work only for 15 days a month, and between 11 am to 6 pm. While her demands were supposedly fulfilled, we wonder if she'll be a part of it now. Her character is one of the most loved ones on the show and it's quite iconic.
The actress had shared the first picture of her baby girl, Stuti on social media. She gave birth to her daughter on November 30, 2017. In the pic, her little princess has worn a blue top and she is wrapped in a pink blanket.
