The actress has recently got engaged to her Bengaluru based businessman boyfriend Koushik Krishnamurthy. The couple exchanged the rings on Thursday. The engagement ceremony took place in Krishnamurthy’s hometown Bengaluru following the traditional rituals of a South Indian household.
The actress wore a Kanjeevaram sari for her special day. Loveleen took to Instagram to share the news of her new beginnings with fans. She wrote, “He's more of myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”
In the picture, the couple, who is heavily decked up, is posing for the cameras.
Another function is scheduled for Friday. It is being organised at the grand level with around 1000 guests invited. It will take place at Bangalore Palace. Their ring ceremony took place at an old age home, which is owned by Krishnamurthy’s family.
While talking about her engagement, Loveleen told SpotboyE.com, “Yes, last night we did exchange rings after a small pooja according to South Indian rituals. It’s a tradition in my in-laws house to celebrate anything auspicious in the aashram first. This morning, our roka happened in a gurudwara. Tonight, we will host a big function at Bangalore Palace, where we will officially exchange rings.”
In their arranged-cum-love marriage, Loveleen’s sister-in-law played the cupid for the couple. She introduced her to Koushik last year on a WhatsApp group. Ever since then, Loveleen and Koushik are seeing each other.
Loveleen revealed about her chemistry with Koushik an interview. She said, “He is a positive and sensible guy. I also get to learn so much from him. Our relationship is growing stronger with every passing day and I feel blessed to have him in my life.”
