Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 actress Erica Fernandes has been ruling the headlines for her alleged closeness with co-star Parth Samthaan. Because of which it is said that the actress has broken up with her last co-star and actor Shaheer Sheikh. Now the latest reports about the two actors claim that they have even unfollowed each other on Instagram. Erica Fernandes has always maintained that she is good friends with Shaheer Sheikh, now that she has unfollowed him, she has given air to many speculations.
On the hand, rumours are not leaving the gossip galleried that Erica Fernandez and Parth Samthaan are dating. However, the actress went to record to deny the rumours and stated that they share a close friendly bond with each other. Erica said that Parth and she lived in two different parts of town so the question of them travelling together on the sets was rubbish. She agreed that they attended industry events together as they left straight from the sets on most occasions.
Talking to Hindustan Times, she said, "It is news to me that such rumours are out there. But I guess rumours are just a part and parcel of the entertainment industry. I have known Parth since we started working together on our TV show and we shoot every day. We are good friends and have a great working relationship. Whenever we chill together, we have a whole bunch of people with us. When we go for events, we are often leaving from our set, so yes, we do leave together. That doesn't mean we go home together. In fact, we live in different parts of the city."
Shaheer Sheikh, who was last seen on television in Dastaan-e-Ishq, also slammed the rumours of Erica and him dating. Shaheer said, "Abhi aisa kuchh nahi hai. According to reports, I am dating a couple of women and I have two to three wives around the world. Erica has herself denied our relationship, and expected people to respect us. But then, that's the hazard of our profession."
Well, following are unfollowing anyone on social media doesn’t really say anything as one can be good friends with another even if not in each other’s social media friend list. While Erica has unfollowed Shaheer, he continues to follow her on Instagram.
