It’s a really sad news for the telly lovers as Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda’s romantic drama Bepannaah is gearing its end. The show will air its last episode on November 30. The actress, who is as emotional as her fans, bids a teary farewell to a show which was very close to her heart. Jennifer shared a video on her Instagram along with a lengthy and emotional caption. In the caption, she tells her fans how emotional she is to say goodbye to the show, to the star cast which was more like an extended family to her. She also assured her fans that she will come back soon on television with another show.
“All good things come to an end and so the curtains will soon fall on our beloved, Bepannaah, you cant help but feel sad together with all fans of the show. The last thing we want is to disappoint you but certain journeys are best short therefore even more meaningful and fulfilling. Bepannaah has left its own special trail and as it gears to close, i stand with gratitude for a stellar star cast,” her Instagram caption reads.
Bepannaah aired its first episode in March this year. Within a year, the makers chose to wrap up the show. Her last show Beyhadh also went off air pretty much soon. According to the BollywoodLife report, Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda refused to be the part of the show if it went to the digital medium. Makers tried to convince them, but in vain. Hence, the producers decided to pull the plug, since Bepannaah is not possible without Jeninfer and Harshad.
A source close to the show told the portal, “The show is going off air. The channel and the makers were trying hard to convince Jennifer and Harshad to continue the show. However, despite all the efforts and persuasion, they didn't give a final nod. The show is about the two. Without them, it won't make sense to continue it. And today the final call has been taken, and it will be pulled off completely. The script would be changed now. The team is working overnight on the screenplay. They have informed the channel about their decision that they don't wish to continue the show after it shifts.”
“Time really flies by but the love that our fans have bestowed on us has been tremendous all through and overwhelming to say the least. Rest assured, I will be back after a short break with something new and even more exciting so humbly request that you respect that a new beginning follows after every ending. Stay tuned for an all new avataar of your’s truly,” she adds.
We hope that we’ll see this cutie Jennifer Winget again on a new show in a new avatar. Meanwhile, Bepannaah is being replaced by Adaa Khan’s fictional TV show Sitaara.
