Comedian Siddharth Sagar, whom we have seen in Comedy Circus, Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan, Laughter Ke Phatke, Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe and also in The Kapil Sharma Show, has reportedly called off his engagement with his fiance Subuhi Joshi. Siddharth's fiance and actress Subuhi has accused the comedian of physical abuse, according to Times of India report.
“When we separated in 2016, he blamed his mother for it. However, she wasn’t entirely responsible for what happened; I realized it only after staying with him post our engagement. The problem is with his attitude and behaviour, but I did try my best to save the relationship. I have seen his dark side; he loses his cool over petty issues and can get violent. Woh haath uthaata hai aur cheezein phekta hai", Subuhi Joshi was quoted as saying to TOI.
Meanwhile, Siddharth Sagar rubbished such claims and said that incompatibility issues led to their break up. “Subuhi and I are no longer together, we have called off our engagement. We had parted ways in 2016, because of my mother, as she wasn’t in favour of this relationship. However, Subuhi reconnected with me last year, and we got back together. Everything was going good, but then compatibility issues cropped up. We called off our engagement two-and-a-half months ago", the comedian said.
Sidharth Sagar also added how problems started when he faced a financial crisis and how she was the first the one to hit him first. He even stated she first blocked him on social media, and later, he did the same to find some peace in life.
Siddharth Sagar and Subuhi Joshi got engaged in an intimate ceremony in Delhi in November 2018.
Sidharth Sagar made news when he got mired in slap gate controversy. The comedian went overboard and slapped Bharti Singh quite hard, which was not taken lightly by the production house. He was finally asked to quit.
