Bollywood’s iconic actress Rekha still rules the hearts of many, despite being offscreen for a prolonged period. Many actresses have come, and many have gone, but there have always been only one Rekha, the timeless Rekha. The gorgeous actress is all set to make a splash on television with the singing reality show Rising Star 2 which airs on Colors TV. Ravi Dubey, who is the host of the show shared the teaser of the upcoming episode. Talking about her appearance on the singing reality show Rising Star 2, Rekha told a leading daily, “Music transcends all boundaries and I believe it sets you free. With Rising Star, the channel has given many of its contestants a platform to explore music and I am looking forward to seeing the budding talent in action.”
According to a Pinkvilla report, she shot for the episode on Monday. Beside the song ‘In Aankhon Ki Masti Ke’, she will also perform a special act with the contestants of the reality show in the live episode.
Rekha is the daughter of late Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan and actress Pushpavalli. She began her acting career as a child artist in Telegu film Rangula Ratnam. She started her journey in Bollywood with Sawan Badho in 1970. So far, Rekha has done more than 100 films in Indian cinema.
