A lot has been said about popular comedian Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiya’s entry into the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 12 hosted by Salman Khan. The couple had participated together in dance reality show Nach Baliye and is done with the shooting of the next season of stunt-based show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Now, it was almost confirmed that the audience will get to see them together again in Bigg Boss 12, but the recent reports suggests that it was all a gimmick.
As per reports, the announcement was made by the makers of the show to create buzz about this season’s theme. According to the reports in the Indian Express, a source has revealed to the publication, "Bharti and Haarsh were never supposed to enter the show. It was just a gimmick by the channel to create a buzz. We all know that if you can’t make it, you can always fake it. Bharti and Haarsh were asked to play along at the launch. And they were also paid a handsome amount for the same. Initially, the makers were toying with the idea of having them on the premiere night but they could not come to an agreement. As of now, they will not be around Bigg Boss 12 for some time.”
It all started when at the launch of the reality show in Goa, host Salman Khan introduced Bharti and Haarsh as the first participants of the show. Even Bharti said in a statement to Indian Express, "After a long honeymoon, we flew to Argentina for Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) together. And now I think we might just plan our baby on the reality show (laughs). The makers had spoken to me about doing the show at the time of KKK but I said let me come back and then decide. When they told me I will enter with Haarsh, I was happy. He doesn’t have time for me otherwise. Ab kahan jayega bhaag ke."
Not just their entry into the controversial house, the amount Bharti and Haarsh are asking for the show was also making the headlines. It was learned that Bharti would be taking home the hefty amount of Rs 30 lakh per week while Haarsh Limbachiyaa is charging around Rs 15 lakh for a week.
At the launch Bharti also said, "People call me a comedy queen. I don't want to be 'jhagra' queen. Even if he (Harsh) gets out in the first week, it's okay but I want to stay till the end. And please meet me every week."
Looks like it was just to create a lot of buzz around the reality show. This is no news that the comedy queen Bharti enjoys a huge fan base and people would love to see her trapped in the Bigg Boss house.
