Hailing from a small town Massaudi in Bihar, Jyoti made many headlines due to her outspoken and arrogant attitude in the starting weeks in the Bigg Boss house. Later a bit of change was also noticed in Jyoti’s attitude and she became a good friend of Vikas Gupta, another strong contestant of the Bigg Boss 11.

But Jyoti is upset and disappointed with her elimination from the show. Jyoti said that there were many contestants in the house, who were weaker than her.

In an interview she was quoted saying as, ‘’I’m not feeling good at all. There were several contestants who were much weaker than me. Everybody in the house felt that Luv will be eliminated. In fact, he himself had no confidence about surviving. Maybe girls voted for him and saved him. I was definitely stronger than Luv, Benafsha, Mehjabi and Sabyasachi, then why was I evicted?”

Jyoti was even trying to play safe and was not seen indulging in unnecessary fights with anyone in the Bigg Boss house. But Jyoti was not very much happy with the wild card entrant Dhinchak Pooja. Jyoti also blamed that Pooja of behaving rude in the house and not showing interest in the tasks.

She said, ‘’Pooja is hardly seen and dozes of most of the time. At times, people in the house don’t even remember that she existed but she behaves like one big celebrity. She’s bad with tasks. When she entered she was aware that Arshi and Akash were popular on the show, so she decided to tag along with them. It helps her survive.”

Jyoti was also not happy with Gauhar Khan’s choice of giving 'Suraksha Kavach' to Akash and safeguarding him.

Jyoti said, ‘’I felt that I was more deserving because I was a weak contestant."
