Kamal Haasan has launched the first look of India's first sea-horror film titled 'Kingston'. Indian film critic Taran Adarsh has shared the poster on social media. As soon as the first look was unveiled, netizens flooded the comment section to show their excitement. One user wrote, 'Best luck for Kamal Haasan sir'. Another user wrote, "feels like Pirates of the Caribbean".

Recently, Kamal Haasan and filmmaker Shankar shared an important update on their upcoming film Indian 2. The makers of the film, Lyca Productions took to social media and shared a glimpse of their dubbing session from the film. Along with the video, the caption read, "A glimpse of the dubbing session from Indian -2 ft.Ulagnayagan @ikamalhaasan & director @shankarshanmugh....dubbing in progress".
Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1996 film Indian. The upcoming film will mark the reunion of filmmaker Shankar and Kamal Haasan after 27 years. The 1996 movie Indian tells the story of an old freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption and crimes. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film will also star Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram and Bobby Simha among others. The music has been composed by Anirudh Ravinchander, who will be working with Shankar for the first time.
