Sunny Leone sports a fierce warrior princess avatar for her upcoming Tamil debut film Veeramadevi. On Friday, she dropped the first look of her film a day after her birthday. She promises that she would reveal the first look of Veeramadevi on her birthday and so it’s finally here Sporting a traditional red bindi and kohl, Sunny Leone looks captivating as a valiant warrior princess. In another series of pictures, Sunny Leone is seen mounted on a horse, clad in armour. According to the reports, she is essaying the role of a fighter in the period drama. After the first look, we can’t wait for Sunny Leone to cast her spell on the silverscreen.
Reports are also suggesting that Sunny Leone has trained in horse riding and sword fighting to nail the role. According to an Indian Express report, she wrapped up the shoot in 150 days.
Veeramadevi has been helmed by Vadivudaiyanm and is made on a mega budget with elaborate CG. The project has been bankrolled by Ponse Stephen’s Steves Corner Banner. The shooting of the film commenced from February 7th this year.
It will release in four languages- Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
Sunny Leone spoke to TOI about her period drama. She said, “I have always liked doing action sequences. I was waiting for a script like this for a long time. I started preparing for this movie from the minute director V C Vadivudayan narrated the story. I have a special love towards south India. I have a lot of my fans here, especially Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. My character is extremely strong and I think if there is any representation of woman I would love to play, it’s Veeramadevi”
