Actress Sri Reddy is in the limelight ever since she protested against the casting couch going on in the Telugu industry. Lately, the lady insulted Power star Pawan Kalyan after which she was mercilessly trolled by her fans. Now, the actor-politician’s brother Nagendra Babu has held a press conference and addressed the whole issue saying that their silence should not be mistaken as their weakness. He didn’t take the actress’ name but there were hints to prove that he was speaking on the ongoing controversy.
Talking about casting couch, he stated that this is known to all that it exists in the industry adding that these days there are many laws that empower a woman. So, if a lady faces indecent behaviour from anyone then she can go to the cops.
He went on to say that not all actresses of the industry have compromised and requested not to demean women like Savitri and Soundarya who have gotten roles in a respectful manner.
Lately, Pawan Kalyan said that Sri Reddy should have approached cops rather than resort to sensationalism. The lady used derogatory remarks against the actor which irked his fans. Later, she apologised for her mistake in a Facebook post. She wrote, “Bhahiranga kshamapanalu(sincere apologies) to the pawan nd his mommy..unnecessary we blamed by many,ur enemy made us to do this and forced us do this in a good advisor mask..i am not belongs to the any political party..i didnt work for the biryani sorry..I hope u nd ur fans should digest nd understand the truth..trolling its fine I face it for my mistake.”
