After a lot of guess work and reports, it has finally been confirmed that Brahmastra actress Alia Bhatt has landed a role in Rajamouli’s RRR. Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s RRR is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2019. It has been grabbing a lot of headlines even before its production. There were a lot of rumours going around the female lead of the film. Earlier, it was speculated that Parineeti Chopra has been roped in opposite Ram Charan in RRR. However, it turns out that these reports were not true. After a long wait, SS Rajamouli finally announced the news.
Rajamouli made it clear that it is Alia Bhatt who will play the female lead opposite Ram Charan in RRR. This film will also mark Alia’s debut in South Indian cinema. Talking about his ambitious project, he said, “It is going to be a completely fictional tale about the two real heroes. We are mounting on a large scale. I don’t like anything small and everything will be on a huge scale. There is a lot of research....we also need supporting characters also big. We are happy to have an amazing."

Ram Charan’s wife Upasana also shared the picture of the actor as he was headlining for the press meet. She wrote, “All set for A Power Packed #RRR morning. Good luck team #ramcharan @tarak9999 @ssk1122 @ssrajamouli.”
National Award-winning music composer MM Keeravani, who composed music for Baahubali, has collaborated with Rajamouli for RRR as well.
