Baahubali’s director SS Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya exchanged rings with lady love Pooja Prasad on Wednesday. Pooja is a Jagapathi Babu’s niece. The engagement ceremony took place in a hush-hush manner with only family members in attendance. Karthikeya later shared the good news on his Twitter account and expressed his happiness on starting a new phase of life. The pictures from his engagement ceremony are surfacing on the internet.
Karthikeya and Pooja wore traditional South Indian attire. The groom wore a light mustard coloured sherwani while Pooja was looking gorgeous in a light pink Anarkali.

Karthikeya is Rajamouli’s stepson however, he always nurtured and loved him like his own biological son. In an interview, his wife Rama said that no one in the family ever felt that Karthikeya was not the biological son of Rajamouli.
Karthikeya has assisted his dad Rajamouli in direction and production departments of his movies since Magadheera. Apart from this, he also runs his own business and co-owns a restaurant and also the Nalgonda Eagles Kabaddi team in the Telangana Premiere Kabaddi.
Talking about his bride, Pooja is a popular Carnatic singer and sang many devotional albums.
