#SushantSinghRajpur death case: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) SIT summons Jaya Shah and Shruti Modi to join the investigation tomorrow.

Shweta Singh Kirti, a sister of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was touched to see a sculptor carving a statue of her late brother in wax. Shweta took to the social media to express her gratitude, saying she felt "as if bhai came alive".

Further he wrote, "1/1 95 दिनो के बाद भी #सुशांतसिंहराजपूत के मामले में सीबीआई टीम के हाथ खाली क्यो? क्या कारण है #सुशांत की मौत जिस घर मे हुई व घर रातोरात खाली कर दिया ? सुशांत के परिवार सहित उन्हें चाहने वाले करोड़ो लोगो के मन में यह बात बस चुक़ा है कि #mva ने सबूतों को मिटाने का प्रयास किया है."

Ravi Kishan, who recently  praised the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for its probe into Sushant Singh Rajput death case and arrest of multiple persons in the drugs case, including actor Rhea Chakraborty, spoke about the drug abuse problem in Bollywood in an exclusive interaction with India TV.

 Anurag Kashyap has now revealed that Parineeti Chopra had refused to work with Sushant Singh Rajput in Hasee Toh Phasee in because he was a TV actor.Parineeti and Sushant have shared screen space in Shuddh Desi Romance later.

"He was supposed to do the film (Hasee Toh Phasee) and we had to find an actress and we reached out to Parineeti Chopra. She said ‘I don’t want to work with a television actor’. So we explained to her that who Sushant Singh is, he is doing Kai Po Che, he is doing PK and by the time Hasee Toh Phasee comes out, he will not just be a television actor," said Anurag Kashyap in an interview with journalist Faye D’Souza.

The Sushant Singh Rajput death is now suspected to be homicide and is being linked to the death of his business associate, Disha Salian, a week earlier. The case, while being investigated, has reportedly unearthed a huge drug trafficking racket with active involvement of people from the film industry along with a few politicians.

Investigations have turned into a sort of tug of war between the central agencies of the government of India on one side, which has no agenda except finding the criminals, and the Maharashtra state machinery and some film personalities on the other side. The media that matters, though fewer in number, especially the TV channels, is keeping the issue alive relentlessly and being victimised for the same.

If one uses the idiom Pandora's Box one more time here, nothing will justify it more aptly then what is happening in the film industry, the media and the local politics of Maharashtra. The matter has now knocked at the doors of both the Houses of the Indian Parliament, the Lok Sabha as well as the Rajya Sabha.

The AIIMS forensic team will be sharing its findings with the CBI team today. The team had returned from Mumbai almost a month after recording the statements of several people and recreating the crime scene. The team will hold a meeting next week with the AIIMS forensic team, sources said.
