It has been 3 months since Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has passed away. Sushant who moved to films from acting in TV’s daily soaps earned a lot of name in big screen along with the small screen. But as per speculations, the actor did not get the due credit in Bollywood and reportedly lost a lot of films as many actors didn’t want to work with him.
Recently, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, in a recent interview, told that actress Parineeti Chopra refused to work with Sushant Singh Rajput. Yes, when Anurag offered her the film “Hasee toh Phasee” she rejected it as she did not want to work with a TV actor.
Anurag in an interview had told that he had signed Sushant for “Hasee toh Phasee” but, the actor had also signed a deal for three films with Yash Raj productions. The first Yash Raj film which Sushant did was 'Shuddh Desi Romance' with Parineeti Chopra. However, Parineeti Chopra did not want to work with Sushant after that.
In a recent interview, Anurag Kashyap said “We were going to make the film ”Hasee toh Phasee”. When we were looking for an actress for the film, we approached Parineeti Chopra. She said, "I do not want to work with TV actors." Then we told him who Sushant Singh is. He is working in Kai Po Chhe, PK. He will no longer be a TV actor by the time “Hasee toh Phasee” is released. She was doing “Shuddh Desi Romance” at that time. And Yash Raj Films called Sushant and asked him to be a part of their film and leave Hasee Toh Phasee."
Anurag further added "Everyone knows Yash Raj Films was a better deal for Sushant and no one was against him for this. He worked in Shuddh Desi Romance with Parineeti Chopra and meanwhile Siddharth Malhotra was roped in for Hasee Toh Phasee.
