NCP leader and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik questioned NCB zonal chief Sameer Wankhede's Dubai visit and released some purported photos of Yasmeen Wankhede, sister of Sameer Wankhede. Responding to this, the NCB officer said, "Those are photos from Mumbai. I was in Mumbai. On 10th December, I was on duty, investigating Rhea Chakraborty's case. Everything is on record."

Ananya Panday to appear before Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) once again for questioning, at 11 am tomorrow (October 22). For the unversed, NCB has informed that Ananya's name surfaced in Aryan Khan's WhatsApp chats.

Ananya Panday's interrogation in connection to the drugs case ended after 2 hours and 5 mins. The actress left the NCB office with her father Chunky Panday. 

Mumbai special NCB court extends judicial custody of 8 accused including Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchantt till Oct 30. The accused were not produced in court either physically or through video conference.

NCB informed that they have summoned the SOTY 2 actress Ananya Panday after her name surfaced in Aryan Khan's WhatsApp chats. She appeared before the NCB at 3:30 pm today. The actress was accompanied by her father and actor Chunky Panday.

Anti-drugs agency Narcotics Control Bureau has summoned Ananya Panday for questioning today. The agency wants to record her statement and therefore she has been called.

Taking to Twitter, Kamya wrote, "What has happened to our judiciary system? Aam janta trusts our judiciary system as they are a neutral body and hence not supposed to be biased. This is harassment and a one-sided opinion. There are so many other ways to interrogate, like house arrest etc. Why keep in jail? #AryanKhan."

She further wrote, "If #NCB has the drug peddler’s number, why doesn’t NCB figure out from their chat and call the source or the distributor and arrest them? Keep them in jail and interrogate if you really want India to be free from #Drugs #AryanKhan #StopThisHarassment #ArrestDrugDistributors."

Aryan's lawyer Satish Maneshinde requested to hear the case through video conferencing. He even sought permission from the court to add two more grounds to his bail application as the detailed order came late in the evening. Maneshinde told the court that the NCB should be asked to file a reply on Monday.

According to the prison superintendent, relatives or lawyers can meet the under trial accused only once a week. Only two people at a time can be present during the meeting.

According to the jail superintendent, Shah Rukh made his entry when he came inside the jail. Aadhaar card and other documents of the actor were seen and then he was sent inside with token. The father-son had a talk for 15-20 minutes during which they were accompanied by 4 guards. During the conversation, there was a glass fencing between the two and qan intercom on both sides. SRK met Aryan in the same manner like relative of a common accused meets and no special treatment was given. After his time was over, SRK himself came out.

SRK's 'Raees' director Rahul Dholakia took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Outrageous !!! You are saying there is a 'possible' connection to his 'international' racket based on 'WhatsApp' chat recovered from his phone, that you confiscated on a 'bust' where he 'had nothing'? And you have been fishing for days and yet not found anything? #FreeAryanKhan."

Without taking any names, Hansal Mehta expressed his anguish in a tweet, writing “The travesty continues. The ordeal continues.Heartbreaking.”

In a tweet, actor Swara Bhasker called the court's decision a "stunning abdication of law..by those charged with upholding the rule of law!"

Terming the actions taken by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the cruise drug case 'fake', Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik on Wednesday alleged that the agency is misleading Mumbai's Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court. Reacting to the rejection of the bail applications of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha for their alleged involvement in the cruise drugs party case, Malik said, "All the actions of the NCB were bogus. And I am still adamant about that. No drugs were found on the cruise. All this action is fake. The NCB is trying to terrorise them in Mumbai."

"The NCB is misleading the court. But all this will become clear in the future," he added.

NCB on Wednesday arrested two drug peddlers from the Andheri area in Maharashtra's Mumbai and seized 160 grams of drugs worth Rs 16 lakhs from their possession. According to officials, the drug peddlers have been identified as Abdullah Iqbal Seikh and Altaf Abdulrahmaan Seikh.

Their bail application was rejected by Mumbai's Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) at 2.45 pm on Wednesday. 

An NCB team busted an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia Cruise ship which was on its way to Goa at mid-sea on October 2. A total of 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested so far in the case related to the seizure of drugs following a raid at a party on the Cordelia cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Among them were the names of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchantt and model Munmun Dhamecha.
