Despite the brouhaha over Ananya Panday's grilling by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), official sources hinted on Friday (October 22) that there is apparently no evidence of any 'drug-related exchanges' in her alleged WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. The sources reluctantly divulged that there are 'no traces or references' of any Marijuana (Ganja) or weed-related chat in the two star-kids' WhatsApp communication being scanned in-depth by the NCB.

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has reached the NCB office. She has been summoned for the second consecutive day for interrogation about Aryan Khan and cruise-ship drugs case.

At a time when Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is still in jail in connection to Mumbai drug bust case, a full-blown war has erupted between Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede and Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik.

Training his guns again on Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik on Thursday claimed the officer was specifically brought in to the agency by the central government after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput last year. On Thursday, Ananya Pandey was interrogated at Ballard Pier office of NCB for about two and a half hours. She has again been called by the investigating agency today at 11 AM. 

During the interrogation, she was asked to divulge information related to Aryan Khan's drug chat and if he was a part of a larger conspiracy. It is being claimed that SRK's son has been consuming drugs for 4 years now. Ananya was asked if she knows more about it and if the actress is aware of any foreign drug peddlers' involvement.

In addition to these questions, Ananya was enquired if she is included in the inner circle in which Aryan Khan used to have alleged rave parties and if she knows any of the drug addicts?

• The prison authorities started allowing the family members of prisoners to visit them from Thursday morning. So far, family members of the prisoners were not being allowed to visit the jail in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
• According to the jail superintendent, when Shah Rukh came inside the jail, his Aadhar card and other documents were checked and then he was sent inside with a token.
• Aryan became very emotional after seeing Shah Rukh.
• SRK consoled him saying everything will be fine as the matter is in High Court now.   
• Aryan and Shah Rukh spoke for 15-20 minutes in the presence of four guards.

As per the latest update, Narcotics Control Bureau detained a 24-year-old drug peddler late last night in Mumbai. He is a prime suspect in the matter whose name has surfaced in the drugs-related chat, claims NCB.

Ananya Panday has been asked to appear before Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) once again for questioning, at 11 am today (October 22). For the unversed, the NCB has informed that the Bollywood actress' name allegedly surfaced in Aryan Khan's WhatsApp chats. However, they are yet to share details about her alleged role in the drugs case.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan met his son Aryan Khan on Thursday in jail. His visit to the Arthur Road jail was his first public appearance since his son's arrest. This was also the first time Aryan Khan met any family member since his arrest by the NCB on October 3.

The prison authorities checked the actor's Aadhaar card and other documents before he entered the premises. After the verification of documents, a token was given to him by prison officials, following which he was allowed to meet his son, who is lodged in the jail's general cell as an undertrial.

Shah Rukh Khan met his son for 15 to 20 minutes, a prison official said, adding that there was a glass fencing between them and they spoke on the intercom. Four guards were present along with them during their conversation. The actor was allowed to meet his son, as per the prison manual, like any other family member of a prisoner and no special treatment was given to him.

The NCB on Thursday recorded the statement of Bollywood actor Ananya Panday after it allegedly came across some WhatsApp chats during its investigation against Aryan Khan in the drugs case. Ananya Panday's actor-father Chunky Panday accompanied her to the NCB office located at Ballard Estate in south Mumbai, where they reached around 4 pm. After recording her statement, Ananya Panday left the agency office around 6.15 pm.

Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 along with a few others after the NCB raided the cruise ship off the Mumbai coast and claimed to have seized drugs, including charas. On Wednesday a special court in Mumbai denied bail to Aryan Khan, observing that 'on the face of it', he was indulging in "illicit drug activities on a regular basis". His WhatsApp chats also showed, prima facie, that he was in touch with drug peddlers, the court noted.
