Actor Arunoday Singh's wife Lee Elton challenges divorce decree
As per reports the dispute started with the fight between Arunoday's dog and Lee Elton's dog.
Actor Arunoday Singh's ex Canadian wife Lee Elton has challenged Bhopal family court order which granted divorce to the duo last year. She has filed a petition in Jabalpur High Court demanding the cancellation of the decree of divorce. In her plea, Lee mentioned that Arunoday was granted a divorce after a unilateral hearing on December 18, 2019.
The couple got married on December 3, 2016. But, after a dispute, Lee shifted to Canada. As per reports, the issues between the two started because of the fight between their dogs. The records related to their divorce have been summoned from Bhopal's family court by The Division Bench of Justice Sanjay Yadav and Justice BK Srivastava who also asked Arunoday to file a response to the notice which was issued earlier. According to reports, the next hearing of the petition has been scheduled for next month on October 6.
Earlier in May 2019, Arunoday even took to Instagram to announce separation with Elton in an emotional post. He wrote, "I haven’t been writing or posting for a while. There’s a reason for it, a rather sad one: My marriage seems to be over. Turns out we were very good at love, but couldn’t survive reality. Despite our best efforts, professional counselling, and a current trial separation, nothing seems to have helped bridge the fundamental differences that have emerged between us. It seems wiser to let go. I think we both deserve better. We shall try to resolve this with compassion and dignity."
Arunoday and Lee Elton started having a lot of disputes which led to divorce within three years of their marriage. On 10 May 2019, Singh filed a case against Elton in the family court of Bhopal. Meanwhile, Elton moved to Canada and filed a case against the actor for the maintenance and restoration of their marital relations.
