Mere Pyare Prime Minister | Storyline

Speaking of film's title, "Mere Pyare" is actually a salutation used by a slum boy in his letter to the "Prime Minister". The film depicts a strong relationship between a mother and her son. Emphasizing on the poor sanitation conditions in India, the film highlights the mental state of an eight-year-old kid knowing that his mother is raped because of open defecation. That's when the little kid decides to write a letter to the Prime Minister demanding the construction of a toilet for his mother.

Child actor Om Kanojiya is an eight-year-old film's protagonist named Kanhu. His relationship with his mother is delightful to watch and undeniably, Om's performance is stupendous views. Kanhu's friends' Ringtone (played by Adarsh Bharti) and Nirala (played by Prasad) are hilarious in their characters.

National award-winning actress Anjali Patil, who has done films like Newton and Chakravyuh, is impressive in Mere Pyare Prime Minister as well. The actress looks stunning and natural on the silver screen while playing a mother's role who lives in poor conditions and earns by doing stitching and embroidery. Rasika Agashe is the supporting actress in the film doing justice to her role as well.

Atul Kulkarni's special appearance in the film is extremely impactful. The actor's expressions and his character's facade is unmissable.

Music: Famous Indian musical trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy composed music for Mere Pyare Prime Minister. Consisting four songs in total, including the title track, the film's music adds charm to the emotional scenes. Mere Pyare Prime Minister title song has been sung by Arijit Singh, Rezgaariyaan by Shankar Mahadevan, Kanha Re by Rekha Bhardwaj. One song which highlights the Holi festivity in the film is titled as Bajaa Bajaa Dhol Bajaa sung by many singers.
