After Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra is all set to take a step ahead in her relationship with Nick Jonas. The couple is going to tie the knot in a great Indian wedding that reportedly scheduled to take place at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The wedding destination is confirmed after mother Madhu Chopra was spotted arriving the Rajasthan city to oversee the preparations. She even revealed why the Chopras chose Jodhpur in this whole world.
The Chopras, however, didn’t confirm the exact venue of wedding yet, but it is being reported that Jodhpur’s plush five-star heritage hotel Umaid Bhawan Palace has been finalised for the big fat wedding. If the reports were to be believed, the cost of single night stay at this expensive hotel is whopping 60,000 dollars, which is about Rs 43 lakhs in Indian currency!
Priyanka Chopra’s mother arrived in Friday at Jodhpur to oversee the wedding preparations. When the paparazzi asked her about why they finalised the city for the nuptials, Madhu Chopra said, “Mera bahut pasandida shehar hai. Saari duniya chhodkar hum yahaan aaye hain (This is one of my favourite cities. We have chosen this city over the whole world,”
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged in a private ceremony in August this year. The couple exchanged rings in a close-knit ceremony with family and friends in attendance. They met at Met Gala 2017 and ever since then, their dating game is going strong.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is currently busy shooting for Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink with Farhan Akhtar. The duo is stationed in Delhi to shoot for a schedule. The film is a biographical based on the life of Aisha Choudhary, who was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis at the age of 13.
