Love is in the air for Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya

divyanka tripathi vivek dahiya Divyanka Tripathi shares a throwback video of her wedding

TV actress Divyanka Tripathi, who’s seen in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as Ishita aka IshiMaa, got hitched to her co-actor Vivek Dahiya last year in July. It’s going to be one year since they got married next month. Ahead of her one-year anniversary and amid the torrential Mumbai rains, the actress shared an adorable throwback video from her wedding, in which a wedding ritual ‘Vidaayi’ was performed at an airport itself. Though, Divyanka wanted her Vidaayi to take place from her home in Bhopal, but the Mumbai rains sabotaged her plans, and finally, they had to do the rituals at the airport. In the video, the usually emotional and heart-touching moment became a hilarious one. Not a single solemn face can be seen. Even the bride herself can be seen mimicking cries to make her Vidaayi look genuine.

Here’s the video:

She captioned it: Viv, you remember this day? It was raining heavily like today. I wanted my Bidai from home...but we couldn't reach there due to rains and floods.
That lead to this awkward airport Bidai. It was unique and filmy! No one cried that day. Generally a sad affair turned out to be funny and joyous!

Falling in love with you again

Divyanka Tripatih and Vivek Dahiya met on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, where Divyanka is still playing the role of Ishita Bhalla, while Vivek was also playing an important role. It was not the love at first sight for the duo, in fact their love blossomed with time as they started hanging out together. Though the rumours of their dating were surfacing on internet, but they kept their relationship status under wraps.

Finally they got engaged in low-key ceremony in January amongst close friends and family members in Chandigarh. Their wedding was however a lavish affair in Bhopal. The pictures of the wedding and pre-wedding photoshoot did a round on social media for quite a while. In July, 2016 the couple said their wedding vows and Divyanka Tripathi became Divyanka Vivek Dahiya.
